Ice Crescent, Mono Lake 2005
When we pulled off the US-395 to snowshoe around the lake, our Subaru slid well off the shoulder. During the time that it took me to hike down to the lake and get this shot (breaking my tripod in the deep snow), my wife skillfully maneuvered the vehicle back to safety.
